ASUS & MSI has announced its wide range of motherboards for the H370, B360 and H310 platforms. These platforms will specifically be for Intel’s 8th-generation CPUs, and with the introduction of affordable motherboards now within your grasp, you should be able to tackle the majority of tasks without spending too much on an expensive motherboard.
ASUS motherboards are separated into the ROG Strix, TUF Gaming, and Prime series
The latest ASUS motherboards are broken down into three categories:
ROG Strix Gaming series, which includes the models H370-F, H370-I, B360-F, B360-G, B360-H, and B360-I.
TUF Gaming and Prime series, which includes the TUF H370-PRO Gaming (Wi-Fi), TUF B360-PRO Gaming (Wi-Fi) and Prime H370-Plus.
You also get a massive repository of exclusive features which includes UEFI BIOS with new search and save functionality, enhanced Fan Xpert 4, Aura Sync, connectivity updates and a brand new aesthetic which ASUS claims that you will fall in love with.
That’s not all because the H370 and B360 chipsets also provide support for USB 3.1 Gen 2 and an optional 802.11ac Wi-Fi for wireless networking. There are some models that also provide support for Intel Optane Memory, which utilizes ultra-fast flash storage to reduce load times for the mechanical storage commonly found in entry-level machines.
